Mountain Valley recap November 13, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in Mountain Valley this week, East Stroudsburg South beat Scranton 49-0. The win marks 11th in a row for the the Cavaliers.
East Stroudsburg South led the league in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Knights.
On the heels of Mike Nikorak and Gerald Douglas, Stroudsburg has had great success on offense. Nikorak leads the league in passing with 1,032 yards, while Douglas has rushed for 1,607 yards this season. Pocono Mountain East's Rj(ronald) Sarajian leads the league in receiving yards with 739 on 49 catches.
Ed Christian's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 680 from 1,056. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 49-0 victory over Scranton last week.
