Baseball Game Preview: Enterprise/Joseph Savages vs. Riverside Pirates

Enterprise/Joseph is a perfect 6-0 against Riverside since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Savages will head out to challenge the Pirates at 12:00 p.m. Enterprise/Joseph will be strutting in after a win while Riverside will be coming in after a defeat.

Enterprise/Joseph came out on top against Umatilla on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Savages never let the Vikings get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Savages, who have now won six contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Riverside lost 11-1 to Vale on Friday.

Riverside saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Thomas, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Enterprise/Joseph, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Everything went Enterprise/Joseph's way against Riverside in their previous meeting back in April of 2019, as Enterprise/Joseph made off with an 11-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Savages since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
