Show Low barely beat Camp Verde the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars never let the Cowboys get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Tuesday. That eight goal margin sets a new team best for Show Low this season.

Their offense was hitting Camp Verde from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Zeno Meier led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win was the third in a row for Show Low, bringing their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three games. As for Camp Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Show Low will head out to square off against North Valley Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Camp Verde, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Winslow at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Camp Verde will be up against Winslow's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.2 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
