Baseball Recap: Benson Takes a Loss

Benson lost against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Benson came up short against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, falling 26-6. Benson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Landon Skarsten was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. He has become a key player for Benson: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-6 otherwise.

Benson's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-7. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 15-0.

Coming up, Benson will challenge Long Prairie-Grey Eagle at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, they will head out on the road to square off against B O L D at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
