Baseball Recap: Mott Comes Up Short

Mott lost against Walled Lake Northern on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Corsairs came up short against the Knights, falling 16-1. The Corsairs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mott now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Walled Lake Northern, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Mott will head out on the road to square off against Cranbrook Kingswood at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Walled Lake Northern, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against South Lyon East at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
