Basketball Recap: Breckenridge Takes a Loss

Breckenridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 93-39 defeat at the hands of the Higbee Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 576th, while the Tigers are ranked 271st).

Breckenridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Higbee, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Breckenridge has already played their next contest (against Braymer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Higbee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 73-34 win against Hardin-Central on the 21st.
