Basketball Recap: Union Grove Comes Up Short

Union Grove lost against Westosha Central back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Union Grove Broncos came up short against the Westosha Central Falcons, falling 83-61. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (60), the Broncos still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Union Grove and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Westosha Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Union Grove will face off against Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Union Grove is facing Burlington at the right time seeing as Burlington is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Westosha Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Kettle Moraine at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kettle Moraine will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Westosha Central surely won't give up without a fight.
