Softball Recap: East Iberville Comes Up Short

East Iberville was the 25-11 winner over Tara when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Trojans on Tuesday, falling 30-15. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

M. Arthur made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole six bases while going 2-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged four or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was M. Johnson, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

East Iberville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Tara, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

As of now, neither East Iberville nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
