Xavier Prep had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Aquinas Falcons as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Saints, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19, 25-13.

Xavier Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Annabel Frederick out in front who hit 83.3% for five kills and 19 digs and one block. Frederick is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Arianna Padilla, who had 11 digs and two assists.

Xavier Prep's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Aquinas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Coming up, Xavier Prep will head out to take on Redlands at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aquinas, they will take on Murrieta Valley in a tournament on Friday.
