Basketball Recap: Moody's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Moody's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-59 victory over the Alexandria Valley Cubs. The win was some much needed relief for the Blue Devils as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Moody's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Alexandria, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Boaz the next time they take the court. Alexandria will head out to face Boaz at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, while Moody will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
