Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Waltrip

While Waltrip put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Spring Woods. The Waltrip Rams put the hurt on the Spring Woods Tigers with a sharp 10-0 win. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Waltrip, bringing their record for this year to 6-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Spring Woods, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, Waltrip and Spring Woods will both be playing Galena Park the next time they take the field. Spring Woods will host Galena Park at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th, while Waltrip will host them at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th.
