Volleyball Game Preview: Cedar Ridge Raiders vs. Round Rock Dragons

Cedar Ridge is 0-10 against Round Rock since September of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the Dragons at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Cedar Ridge made easy work of McNeil and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cedar Ridge was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Round Rock got the win against Georgetown on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Round Rock was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-15.

Cedar Ridge's win bumped their record up to 21-17. As for Round Rock, their victory bumped their record up to 37-8.

Cedar Ridge suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Round Rock in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
