For the second straight game, Campo Verde will face off against Desert Mountain. The Coyotes will square off against the Wolves at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Campo Verde is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Campo Verde is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Desert Mountain.

For Desert Mountain's part, Zach Gerber looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.

On the hitting side, Quentin Starbuck was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Leo Kearns was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The victory made it two in a row for Desert Mountain and bumps their season record up to 11-14. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Campo Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.
