Basketball Recap: Whittier RVT Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Whittier RVT won the last time they faced Northeast Metro RVT and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Whittier RVT Wildcats took down the Northeast Metro RVT Knights 59-40. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly 19 points.

When it comes to explaining why Northeast Metro RVT lost, don't look at Jeanahel Exilus. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Exilus a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Esien Clarke, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 14 points.

As for Northeast Metro RVT, they will head out on the road to take on Academy of Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Academy of Notre Dame knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Northeast Metro RVT likes a good challenge.
