Basketball Game Preview: Dilley Wolves vs. Hondo Owls

Dilley hasn't had much luck against Hondo recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Dilley Wolves will look to defend their home court against the Hondo Owls at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Dilley ended up a good deal behind Lytle and lost 34-20. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Hondo suffered their biggest loss since December 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Jourdanton 77-45. The defeat continues a trend for the Owls in their matchups with the Indians/Squaws: they've now lost three in a row.

Dilley's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Hondo, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-5.
