Doherty had to endure  a  five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a  set and slipped past the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies  2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Spartans have posted  against the Grizzlies since April 6, 2022.
 Elijah Morrison paced Doherty's offense, picking up nine kills. Morrison got some help from  Ryan Kaiser and his 18 assists. Kaiser also made an impact serving:  he shared the team lead in aces with  Nathaniel Mai, racking up two apiece.
