Volleyball Recap: Moore Haven's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Moore Haven was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Donahue Catholic last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Terriers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sebring Blue Streaks on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Streaks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 two weeks ago.

Moore Haven was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Sebring work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 21-25, 25-17, 26-24.

Despite the loss, Moore Haven saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kulipa Julian had 22 digs and two assists. Julian is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Trinity Guerry, who had five digs and three aces.

Moore Haven's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-2. As for Sebring, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Moore Haven didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against LaBelle on the 4th. As for Sebring, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Avon Park on the 4th.
