Baseball Recap: Willows Takes a Loss

Willows was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 9-1 to the Mt. Shasta Bears. If the Honkers were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to the Bears when the teams met back in March of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Willows' loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Willows and Mt. Shasta will both be playing Los Molinos the next time they take the field. The Bears will head out to face the Bulldogs at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Honkers will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
