South Allegheny entered their tilt with Northgate on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They never let the Flames get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. Considering the Gladiators have won six games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sydney Gordon was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBI. Gina Connors also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

South Allegheny's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Northgate, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

South Allegheny will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Flames: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
