Dickinson had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They walked away with a 72-65 victory over the Cypress Falls Eagles. This was payback for the Gators, who suffered a 49-36 loss the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dickinson to victory, but perhaps none more so than TroyNelle Belle, who shot 62% from the field en route to 22 points and eight boards. Belle has been hot, having posted 19 or more points the last six times he's played. James Turner was another key player, going 5-for-7 on his way to 17 points and seven assists.

Dickinson's record is now 11-3. As for Cypress Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Dickinson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 41-37 win against Fort Bend Marshall on the 13th. As for Cypress Falls, they have also already played their next game, a 41-39 loss against Cypress Springs on the 13th.
