Having just played yesterday, New Dimensions will head out on the road to face off against the Freedom Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Four Corners scored an imposing 70 points on Monday, New Dimensions still came out on top. New Dimensions took their contest against Four Corners 77-70. The win made it back-to-back wins for New Dimensions.
New Dimensions got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeriel Martinez out in front who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Blake Ferrante, who scored 20 points.
Meanwhile, Freedom had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 60-55 win over Nazaret Christian Academy on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
New Dimensions is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Freedom, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.
New Dimensions didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Freedom when the teams last played back in November of 2023, but they still walked away with a 67-61 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for New Dimensions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
