Volleyball Recap: Gordon Lee's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Gordon Lee came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Unity Christian Lions by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

Gordon Lee not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Unity Christian between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17.

Gordon Lee can attribute much of their success to London Franklin, who had five aces.

Franklin wasn't the only good server: Gordon Lee was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Gordon Lee's record is now 4-1. As for Unity Christian, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-6.

Coincidentally, Gordon Lee and Unity Christian will both be playing Boyd-Buchanan the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
