Softball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 8-5 to the Lester Prairie Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 19-8 defeat on Tuesday.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lester Prairie, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

Coming up, Springfield will face off against Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lester Prairie, they are taking a road trip to challenge Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
