On Friday, Highland Prep had to settle for second even though Liam Coye put up the best numbers he has all season. Coye wasn't messing around, making 30 total tackles (2.0 for loss). The matchup was his sixth straight with eight or more total tackles.

Z'Yeon Rondan's big game helped extend Phoenix Christian's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Rondan as he rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Unfortunately for Mountainside, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Rondan. Rondan rushed for 49 yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Wolves duked it out back in October of 2023.

Another Highland Prep player making an appearance on this list is Aeden Calini. He picked up 116 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 81 yards.
