Baseball Recap: Yellow Springs Takes a Loss

Yellow Springs couldn't beat Legacy Christian Academy on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Bulldogs lost 17-4 to the Knights. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-2 loss last Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Yellow Springs and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Legacy Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yellow Springs will host Trotwood-Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they will square off against Greenon at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
