Baseball Recap: Coastal HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Coastal HomeSchool came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles, falling 14-5. The Hurricanes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Coastal HomeSchool saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Smith, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double.

Coastal HomeSchool now has a losing record of 17-18. As for Vidalia Heritage Academy, their record now sits at 10-12.

Coastal HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vidalia Heritage Academy, they have already played their next match, a 5-4 loss against Bulloch Academy on the 2nd.
