Geneva never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Brush on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 19-6 margin over the Arcs. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.
Annabelle Bragg made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Bragg was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Caidyn Siegel was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Finley Mongell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Geneva always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Geneva moved to 10-13 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Brush, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Geneva does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brush, they will challenge Harvey at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
