With a playoff win on the line, Northport rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Bellport Clippers by a score of 28-21. The Tigers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Northport's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Greyson Cabrera, who picked up 149 receiving yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 47 yards and one score. Cabrera showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 55 yards. Simon Blissett was another key passer, throwing for 253 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per attempt.

Northport's record is now 8-1. As for Bellport, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Coming up, Northport will take on East Islip at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Redmen will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. Bellport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
