Baseball Recap: Miami Trace Comes Up Short

Miami Trace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Circleville Tigers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Miami Trace's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Circleville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Miami Trace didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-11 win against Goshen on the 17th. As for Circleville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Hillsboro on the 16th.
