Soccer Recap: Chippewa Comes Up Short

Chippewa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Norwayne Bobcats. While losing is never fun, Chippewa can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 437th, while Norwayne are ranked 206th).

Chippewa's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Norwayne, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chippewa will take on rival Hillsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Norwayne is set to face off against their familiar foe Smithville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
