Basketball Game Preview: Palmer Moose vs. Wasilla Warriors

The Palmer Moose will face off against the Wasilla Warriors at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Palmer heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Wednesday. They took a hard 52-35 fall against Bettye Davis East Anchorage. The contest marked the Moose's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of ten wins, Wasilla's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 50-38 to Monroe Catholic.

This is the second loss in a row for Palmer and nudges their season record down to 18-10. As for Wasilla, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 18-10.

Palmer couldn't quite finish off Wasilla when the teams last played two weeks ago and fell 60-57. Can Palmer avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
