Recap: Bolles Bulldogs vs. Andrew Jackson Tigers
The Bolles Bulldogs can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They breezed by Andrew Jackson at home to the tune of 60-20. Given Bolles' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Andrew Jackson is ranked 230th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Abby Knauff, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and six steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Hilary Englert, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Bolles and bumps their season record up to 14-6. As for Andrew Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bolles will face off against Ribault at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Andrew Jackson will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against North Florida Educational Institute at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. North Florida Educational Institute is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
