After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pickens, Daniel was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Walhalla Razorbacks by a score of 7-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Bryn Chasteen was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Gooch, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Daniel's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Walhalla, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Daniel Lions face off against Crescent Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Walhalla, they will square off against T.L. Hanna at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
