Softball Game Preview: Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones vs. Quincy Blue Devils

The Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones will venture away from home to take on the Quincy Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither Sacred Heart-Griffin nor Quincy posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Sacred Heart-Griffin managed to slip by Normal University the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cyclones lost 7-1 to the Pioneers on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Quincy fell victim to Geneseo and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Maple Leafs, falling 16-0. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Maple Leafs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Sacred Heart-Griffin's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Quincy, their loss dropped their record down to 11-19.
