Softball Recap: Lake Orion Takes a Loss

Lake Orion was the 6-4 winner over Hartland when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dragons fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 10-8 on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Dragons have lost by exactly two runs.

Lake Orion has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Hartland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1.

Coming up, Lake Orion will be playing at home against Bloomfield Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Black Hawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Dragons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hartland, they will square off against Lakeland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
