Softball Recap: Kaneland Takes a Loss

Kaneland lost against St. Charles East back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights lost 8-2 to the Fighting Saints. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaneland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Naab, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Kaneland's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for St. Charles East, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kaneland will venture away from home to face off against Rochelle at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Charles East, they will head out to challenge Glenbard North at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Fighting Saints' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
