Baseball Recap: Trinity Leadership Comes Up Short

After a string of three wins, Trinity Leadership's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Keene Chargers by a score of 5-4.

Caron McGee and Jaden Fallesen stepped up to the plate in a big way. McGee went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, while Fallesen scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. McGee has become a key player for Trinity Leadership: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 1-7-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Daunte ` Mitchell, who got no hits from his three at bats.

Trinity Leadership's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Keene, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season.

While Trinity Leadership had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
