Basketball Game Preview: Bucklin Red Aces vs. Satanta Indians

The Bucklin Red Aces will head out on the road to challenge the Satanta Indians at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Friday, Bucklin came up short against Macksville and fell 73-61. While losing is never fun, the Red Aces can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Mustangs are ranked 87th).

Meanwhile, Satanta came up short against Hodgeman County on Monday, falling 67-41. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bucklin's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Satanta, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Everything came up roses for Bucklin against Satanta when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 70-42 win. Will Bucklin repeat their success, or does Satanta have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
