Despite the defeat, Comstock saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Neal Billings went 9 for 15 on his way to 24 points and six boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Billings has scored all season. Creed Hardin was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Even though they lost, Comstock smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
Knippa pushed their record up to 15-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
