Volleyball Recap: Platte/Geddes Comes Up Short

Platte/Geddes had taken Kimball/White Lake down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Black Panthers fell just short of the Wildkats by a score of 3-2. The Black Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildkats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Platte/Geddes took Kimball/White Lake into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 24-26, 17-25, 25-20, 16-14.

Platte/Geddes dropped their record down to 10-15 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Kimball/White Lake, they moved to 7-21 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Platte/Geddes and Winner will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kimball/White Lake, they will square off against Colome at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
