Basketball Recap: St. Regis Falls Takes a Loss

St. Regis Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the St. Lawrence Central Larries 73-35. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 82-31 back in December of 2024.

Ayden Beach was his usual excellent self, going 13 for 22 en route to 28 points along with seven boards and six assists for St. Lawrence Central. Beach is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 23 games he's played dating back to last season. Jacob Evans was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

St. Regis Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for St. Lawrence Central, their record is now 14-4.

Looking ahead, St. Regis Falls will welcome Brushton-Moira at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Lawrence Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Colton-Pierrepont at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
