Volleyball Recap: Upland's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

Upland lost against Chino Hills back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Highlanders/Scots fell 3-1 to the Huskies. The Highlanders/Scots' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Upland still got an impressive performance from Nathaniel Stevens, who had 37 digs and three assists. Stevens is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last 14 games he's played.

Chino Hills' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sean Spicer, who had 20 kills and nine digs. Tyler Way was another key player, getting five digs and one block.

Upland's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Chino Hills, they pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Upland has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Damien on the 17th. As for Chino Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Claremont on the 17th.
