Basketball Recap: Logan's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Logan's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Maeser Prep Academy Lions by a score of 41-32. The victory was some much needed relief for the Grizzlies as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Maeser Prep Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lillian Nolan dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Eleanor Hamberger, who posted eight points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks.

Logan's win bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Maeser Prep Academy, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Logan will welcome Park City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Park City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Maeser Prep Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-32 loss against Tabiona on the 4th.
