Basketball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 68-26 loss at the hands of the Powers Catholic Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Chargers are ranked 53rd).

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Powers Catholic, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Bobcats take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on February 24th. As for Powers Catholic, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Carman-Ainsworth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
