Soccer Game Preview: St. Mary's Academy vs. Prospect Ridge Academy

St. Mary's Academy is 1-6 against Prospect Ridge Academy since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Miners at 4:15 p.m.

St. Mary's Academy is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Forge Christian on Thursday. Neither the Wildcats nor the Fury could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Prospect Ridge Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let The Academy get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Give Prospect Ridge Academy's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Prospect Ridge Academy pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. With that draw, St. Mary's Academy's record moves to 2-2-1.
