Recap: Haines City Hornets vs. Liberty Chargers

The Haines City Hornets had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 64-57 win over Liberty. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Haines City's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ixion Toro, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Deonte Fielder Jr, who scored 12 points.

Liberty's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances.
