EnCompass Academy extends road losing streak to four

Recap: enCompass Academy Explorers vs. Sage Ridge Scorpions
The EnCompass Academy Explorers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Sage Ridge on the road and fell 53-5.
Sage Ridge got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sophia Soran out in front who dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 14 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Soran has scored at least a third of Sage Ridge's points. Beatrice Liwanag was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
EnCompass Academy's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for Sage Ridge, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
EnCompass Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sage Ridge will be playing at home against Mineral County at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mineral County is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
