Soccer Recap: Pace Comes Up Short

Pace lost against South Walton back in January of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pace Patriots lost 3-0 to the South Walton Seahawks. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 383rd, while the Seahawks are ranked 94th).

Pace has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which is still a better percentage than their 1-5-1 record this season. As for South Walton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2-2.

Pace wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, an 8-5 defeat against Tate on the 10th. As for South Walton, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, an 8-0 victory against Marianna on the 10th.
