Volleyball Recap: King/Drew Comes Up Short

King/Drew lost against Port of Los Angeles on March 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. King/Drew lost 3-0 to Port of Los Angeles. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King/Drew's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Port of Los Angeles, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. King/Drew will face off against rival Foshay at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Port of Los Angeles is set to take on their familiar foe Jordan at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Port of Los Angeles has won four straight at home dating back to last season, while Jordan won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
