Baseball Game Preview: Hudson Hornets vs. Port Neches-Groves Indians

The Hudson Hornets will challenge the Port Neches-Groves Indians at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Hudson came into this matchup off a tough six-run loss on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Longview by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hudson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cutter Warren, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Port Neches-Groves never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over Hamshire-Fannett.

Port Neches-Groves now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hudson, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Hudson skirted past Port Neches-Groves 5-4 when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Will Hudson repeat their success, or does Port Neches-Groves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
